Bought brand new off of the showroom floor in July of 2001

I had air conditioning, cruise control, security alarm, window tinting, paint protection, fabric protection and floor mats factory fitted prior to delivery of the car

Only modifications since have been weight reduction related such as deletion of the stereo system, rear wing, various interior body panels including the door panels, the rear seats, seatbelts, spare wheel including the kit and jack, as well as the rear brace

Disappointed by the deletion of the Bridgestone RE010 tyres that the DC2 was set up to run on

Have just bought a set of Bridgestone RE11 tyres from Nengun to solve the acceleration, braking and cornering issues I've experienced driving on the current Bridgestone RE001 Adrenalins

Just noticed that the new RE-11 tyres are much wider than the section width label on the tyres indicates that they should be! I bought 195/55/R15 85V tyres that are actually 210mm wide. They should be 195mm wide! After spending so much on them - I hope they fit!

I've just received a set of the JDM 98 spec DC2 ITR 16 inch rims by bidding on the Nengun Auction sites. I'll replace the stock 15 inch rims I've currently got on the car with these, (after refurbishing them) once the RE-11 tyres I've just bought here on Nengun reach the end of their useful life - if they fit that is!

Have just installed a set of JDM 98 spec DC2 ITR clear side repeaters as well to replace the OEM amber units which stick out too far from the fender and increase drag. The JDM units are a more streamlined design and fit straight in. Pics coming soon!

My rubber clutch pad keeps wearing out every two months, so I've also purchased a set of Mugen Sports Pedals. No more driving with bare feet now!

Performance

Completely stock - approximately 190bhp

Has improved due to weight reduction measures

Competitive 0-60km/h acceleration for city streets that have a 60km/h speed limit anyway

I do a few 1st to 5th gear changes from time to time

Handling

Completely stock

Has also improved due to weight reduction measures

Should improve further with the Bridgestone RE11 tyres I've just purchased from Nengun

Will fit the new RE11 tyres to the car once the current RE001 Adrenalins have reached the end of their useful life

Style

I do not want to attract too much attention, so I have not changed the look of the car except for the removal of the rear wing and the addition of clear side repeaters.
