Swift responded on Tuesday, 6th May 2008
go ahead Zul
Eagle responded on Tuesday, 13th May 2008
you made a few modifications of your swift, can you tell us which airfilter exactly you have installed? if its the powerfilter from monster did you also put the radiator intake and the front bumper intake?
also how many bhp (approx) you think you gain from these?
Swift responded on Wednesday, 14th May 2008
the powerfilter from suzukisport and monster is the same and is the Competition PFX-400 see also here http://www.suzukisport.com/ss_racing/afc_compe-px/index.html
and here http://www.powerfilter.com/pfx/index.htm.
radiator intake i didnt install yet neither the front bumper intake.they are in my plans in the future.i dont think you gain bhp maybe 2 or 3 but you gain torque.when i install the power filter i did feel a small difference but not so much if i install also the radiator intake.
revox responded on Wednesday, 16th July 2008

really awesome swift...
So,about the monster filter... Looks really big, but does it make any sound on not?
Do you think it is worth the money, or should I look for something else?
Thanx!

Intalos diaferoun ta kypriaka ta avtokinita re :)
Swift responded on Friday, 15th August 2008
it does make sound and is very nice.if you install also the Carbon Inatke Box you will have much better sound, cold air in your air intake and engine and you will have better performance.
kindemann responded on Saturday, 23rd August 2008
next project for ur swift must be brakes right? if yes, which ones are you looking at? i'm looking for brakes as well, after getting my new wheels next week! cant wait.

oh, and jsut asking, is ur ride a little harsh, now that u changed coilovers and 17 inchs rims? i'm wondering why u took 205-40-17 instead of 215? any reason to share with me? thanks and nice ride btw, swift sports is the best!
Swift responded on Monday, 25th August 2008
i'll prefer Project Mu the brake kit.is full upgrade kit with front disk rotors, caqlipers, brake pads and teflon brake lines.no is not harsh if you compare it with other cars with suspension install.everyone who was in my car with me said that the suspension (CUSCO Compact ZERO 1) is not very stiff and is confortable on a trip and of course on cornering is very good also.as for the tyres i choose 205-40-17 cause when i got the swift the only think i had my mind on is to make it beautiful and with good stability control but 205 is not good stability but it looks nicer on 17" advan rg2.
kindemann responded on Tuesday, 26th August 2008
ah, i see. i'm going to get the advan rc3. still not sure whether to choose gold, like yours or white. haha.
Swift responded on Wednesday, 27th August 2008
i recomend gold with good offset if its available
kindemann responded on Wednesday, 27th August 2008
hmmm, ok. what brand of tires are u using bro? i thinking of getting federal RSR which are semi slicks. u got any comments abt them? quite clueless to brands of tires.
Swift responded on Thursday, 28th August 2008
im using Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. i dont have personal expirience about slicks but i have a friend whos using on a honda yokohama A048 and A050 in street for racing.he is very happy from the performance of the tyres if he manages to get them in the right temperature.:). i read about the federal RSR tyres they are very good but from car to car is different.if you dont try them u never know.make a research chek out yokohama and toyo.they are expensive but what you pay you get.
kindemann responded on Friday, 29th August 2008
alright, thanks bro, will post pics up on my page when the wheels are set up on my ride. cheers!

Can ask u a Question? Those Headlights are accesory or came with the car? Where could i buy them?

Pablo.
Nikos St responded on Wednesday, 17th December 2008
I'd like to ask you a question. As for the strut bar, did you have to make any holes or was it just bolt-on?

thanks in advance mate ;)
Swift responded on Wednesday, 17th December 2008
the CUSCO Front Strut Bar you can fit on the factory holes.it clears from the abs pipes also but you have to disassemble many parts in the engine bay to fit it.you will need some help also especialy with the screws that you have to put them behind the wheel and the shocks.its easy but you need time and you must be carefull with the disassembling the parts from your car so you dont break the clips on the plastic parts.
JVlasy responded on Sunday, 28th December 2008
Hi guys, did you see the engine starter switch on these sites?? Looks pretty good for me. Do you have any ideas how does it works?
btw, really nice car, im working on mine too. so good work.
Swift responded on Monday, 29th December 2008
thanks mate.the engine starter switch should work like any other.instead of the factory switch you can use the button starter switch
JVlasy responded on Tuesday, 30th December 2008
hm, my concerns are about this, i m not sure if the start button work all by itsefl, so i just get in the car press the button and the engine starts(i have keyless entry), OR do i still have to turn the originall ignition to the first position so to imobiliser unlocks. Anybody knows that??
Swift responded on Tuesday, 30th December 2008
most of them you need to turn the original ignition.i dont know about the specific one

Now that's a sweet ride. I drive a swift sport too, so can appreciate the work/money spent. I'm interested in getting the cusco strut bar for my car. Is the clearance ok, especially with the carbon sport air intake and scuttle panel?
