well, brough the car as a daily driver about a year ago. was stock standard apart from a 4 door bumper on her. since about 5 months ago she has been more of a weekend car.
since then ive aimed at the basic mods with more of a lean towards the handling area, as i see this as a good area to modify before big power gains are sought after.
Performance
intake wise, Apexi power intake (silver) does the breathing through a cold air box fed by a custom light gague sheet metal air vent mounted under the air box. Air is then fed through stock turbo into an HKS type S intercooler system where it meets the factory intake setup. venting is taken care of via an HKS SQV bov.
Exhaust wise, a Trust 3 inch exhaust off the back of the turbo goes into a cat mounted mid exhaust then back into the Trust system into a 4 inch tip.
Handling
Trust/greddy type S coil over suspension has been installed to stiffen up the ride a bit. have spent about 2 months setting the spring pre-load levels and dampers to a good balance of comfort and stability. teh car came stock with a rear strut bar. so a Greddy frount bar was added to keep the frount towers in check.
rim choice was a tedious process, but in the end went with a 17inch rim, measuring 235 in the pointy end, and 255 in the rear. the brand chosen was crimson inc. mainly for the size, price, and also the rim blends into the car almost to look like a factory fitment. rubber choice was always going to be Bridgestone, and with the RE001 adrenalin coming out, i saw it fit to swap to this rubber. so 2x 235/45/R17 and 2x 255/40/R17 rubber bands were purchased. and they are simply amazing. these were filled with nitrogen to further improve the handling and tyre temp whilst on and off the track.
so apart from the center caps being stolen not too long ago, thats about all in this area
Style
Nismo clear indicators were a must here, looks so clean compared to the orange factory ones.
Nismo 7 sided wheel nuts added to help prevent theft
just added a R33 GTR rear wing,
i modified the 4 door bumper to resemble the normal coupe bumper as the basic structure is the same, only the lights are different.
a boost gauge was installed in the pillar.
