My names Mike and I imported this car myself from Japan. It was a grade 5A v spec with 39k on the odometer .It has a 400r body kit ,Nismo instruments and a full nismo exhaust all fitted from new.
My intention was to leave it standard but that soon changed as I wanted to race it on amateur track days
It is 95% complete and kicks ass on the track.
I have 2 other cars for daily stuff and this car is my long awaited toy.
I had to over rule the leader of the opposition to get it ha ha
It is in show car condition . and stored in a vault when not being used.
This car was built for quick response and comes on better than stock.
I am living my dream.
Performance
The engine is a copy of a tomei 2.8 Derive but better.
The main parts are:
New N1 (24u) block fully prepped with an extra oil drain
Full tomei internals apart from main brgs which are ACL race bearings .
270/10.8 procams and vernier pulleys
Sard 800 cc injectors and regulator
Tomei oil pump and in tank fuel pump and external Bosch pressure pump from swirl tank
Nismo water pump
ATI 1000ps harmonic balancer
Race ported heads with full tomei valve gear and guides
Trust T517x 8cm Trust split dumps
Trust piping , Drag intercooler, Rspec BOV. custom cold air box
Trust radiator Trust remote oil cooler and filter Trust extended sump.
Motec m800 ecu running Map sensors.and original ecu for the secondary functions.
OS Giken gearbox
Nismo twin plate copper mix clutch
Diff ratio changed from 4.1 to 4.3
Spitfire coils HKS twin power and harness
Hks EVC5 boost controller
Hypertune 6 throttle surge tank replacing standard surge tank very soon.
Presently making around 610 bhp 690 Nm at 1.5 bar boost.
Engine built for more power but wanted it bullet proof
and 610 bhp is enough for me . Only run low boost on the track 460 bhp depending on the circuit and high boost on the street . Good for overtaking ! on windy country roads.
Handling
Impul Ohlins shocks with sodt and ohlins springs
Brembo 6pot monoblock fr and 4 pot rear 355/335 rotors
Cusco adjustable tension rods front and rear
Falken 452 for cruising and Bridgestone re55s for the track on spare rims.
