What internals do you have. I am building my RB20det and dont really know anyone in the US who has built one so im just curious. And do you know what the stock internals are good for? Just thought id ask because you Australias know how to build stuff better than the rest of us for some reason.

the 405rwhp run was a a dead stock motor, with just the usual bolt on upgrades like gtr 440cc inj, trust td-06 20g 16c rear turbo,tial gate, EMS ecu. (stock cams too, the hks ones didnt go in until recently)

it was a very safe tune with afrs dropping into the 10s at high rpm and 26psi.

the rb20 is undoubtably the strongest rb from factory, short rod length is where they have the advantage over the 25/26/30.

im actualy in the planning stages of a built motor for the car now. im going to keep it an rb20 crank but use the tomei forged oversized pistons to take it to a 2.2, aftermarket rods, big oil pump with restrictors in place and oil return from the head to the sump.

all i have is hks metal head gasket ,arp head studs and new gasket kit and n1water pump...hks cast mani with a gt35r and 40waist pushing 468 at 29psi and 75 shotdry...6 mounths now no wories
