What is the power delivery like with that combination? Are the tyres able to hang on in 2nd/3rd ?
dj3000 responded on Monday, 25th February 2008
Power delivery is like a ton of bricks, haha I love it, good for scaring people and highway acceleration.

I have 295 Kumho ECSTA SPTs at the rear, they are great in the wet but can't put the power down in 1st and 2nd. The car only begins to pull really well in 3rd. Before that, wheel spin city.

stock VVT-i ecu hey? is that working out ok? Are the A/F ratios ok?
dj3000 responded on Wednesday, 5th March 2008
Yeah it works. AFR @ WOT are: 10.9 according to an innovative LT-1 wideband sensor. Although the injector duty cycle is at 100% (I'm guessing as the ECU dumps fuel as a failsafe because it is running very rich at full boost) .
mdeluca83 responded on Wednesday, 5th March 2008
ahh so stock injectors too. cool. that air intake is custom to suit the AFM or did you get that as a kit? Sorry for the questions, i am thinking about the same setup you have thats all.
dj3000 responded on Saturday, 8th March 2008
Yeah the intake pipe was custom made specifically for the AFM, it was made exactly like the stock pipe for accurate air flow readings to the ecu. Everything else fit straight out of the box like a glove. The GReddy kit is excellent quality.

Hey mate i was wondering do you need any other mods for it being vvti? i have a vvti 98 man and im thinking about t88.
dj3000 responded on Friday, 28th November 2008
You just need a custom intake pipe to fit the air flow meter. I think HKS have a pipe which fits the AFM as part of their VVTi airpod package.

im thinking of getting the same intercooler u got except the CS which is what the blitz have now. just wondering if it came with relly EVERYTHING needed to install it to the vvti, and also if u know what power it is rated at? thanks mate
